What an EFGT Family Coach is:

The Family Coach is your single point of contact and a supportive partner that wants to help you get the most out of the Empowering Families to Grow Together series.  Your Family Coach will help guide you through the online content and answer your questions about the material as you go through it.  Together, you’ll consider what the information means to you, and then you will decide how to move forward with it in your family.

Your Family Coach respects your privacy and you can rest assured that what you share with your coach will be treated confidentially.

What an EFGT Family Coach is not:

A Family Coach isn’t a parenting expert and won’t give you parenting advice or tell you how you should apply the course material.  You are the expert on your family and only you know how to best put what you learn in the series into action.
A Family Coach isn’t a mental health professional and will not counsel you about family issues.  If you have needs for this kind of service, a Family Coach will help refer you to other resources that can help.

What to expect from your EFGT Family Coach

Once you’ve registered for the Empowering Families to Grow Together series, you will be contacted by your assigned family coach via email or phone.  Your coach will introduce themselves and give you details regarding access to the first module.  After you’ve completed each of the four modules, your Family Coach will check in with you via phone or video call to answer any questions and discuss the information in each module.  Calls will last about 20 minutes and will take place at time that you agree upon with your Family Coach.  You will also receive an email from your Family Coach about half way between each check in call to see how things are going, answer any questions, and take care of things like scheduling.
